Karpathos will become a new destination in Århus Charter’s 2027 program, with direct flights from Aarhus, Denmark, beginning on May 17. The final departure is scheduled for the later part of October 2027. As the local destination management partner for Århus Charter and the Travelheart Family group, Karpathos Travel will help turn this new connection into a memorable experience on the island.
Our team will coordinate local bookings, airport transfers and excursions for arriving guests. From their first welcome to their days exploring Karpathos, we look forward to helping Danish travelers discover the places and people that make the island special.
Representatives of Travelheart Family visited Karpathos in 2026 to meet local partners and experience the destination firsthand. Karpathos Travel helped organize and host their visit, introducing the group to the island’s traditional villages, beaches, food and hospitality.
The new route is the result of a wider effort involving the Municipality of Karpathos, the Greek National Tourism Organisation’s Scandinavia office and local tourism professionals. It creates an exciting opportunity to introduce Karpathos to more visitors from Denmark and to support travel beyond the peak summer months.
“We’re proud to be part of this new chapter for Karpathos,” said the Karpathos Travel team. “Our goal is to give every visitor a warm welcome and a genuine connection to the island.”
We look forward to welcoming Århus Charter’s guests in 2027—and helping them make the most of their time in Karpathos.
