9 USER RESPONSIBILITIES

The user of M.I. REISIS AND CO.’s website is obliged

to comply with the relevant clauses of the Greek, European and International Law and the relevant legal framework that governs telecommunications. In addition, the user is obliged to refrain from every illegal and abusive use of the Web’s content. The visitor bears responsibility for any type of damage may have been caused to the website by him due to any unsuitable activities. In case of any lawsuit or claim, administrative or judicial, against the website, due to any kind of violation of it, the visitor bears responsibility to intervene in the relevant judicial process and reimburse the website in case he is forced to provide compensation.

10 CANCELATION POLICY

The total price of the reservation must be prepaid within 48 hours before the booked excursions- activities.

If the reservation is canceled 24 hours in advance, there will be no charge and there will be a full refund.

In case your travel plans change and you wish to make changes to your booking, the normal booking terms apply and you may not be entitled to a refund.

If you do not show up at the meeting point of departure and have not canceled your reservation, you will be charged the total amount of the reservation.

If due to illness you can not participate at the last minute, you will be refunded the full amount, provided there is a doctor’s certificate.

You are kindly advised to carefully follow the travel instructions of local authorities and health agencies.

If the activity-excursion does not take place due to force majeure Karpathos Travel has the right to cancel the reservation and transfer it to another date or do a refund.

The activities – excursions are in English.

Pick up times can be changed and you will be notified no later than the previous afternoon (12 hours before) by notification at your hotel reception or on your email or mobile phone.

There may be cancellations due to weather in the activities – boat trips.

Karpathos Travel has the right to change the transport vehicle and/or boat if necessary.

Karpathos Travel bears no responsibility for bodily harm in case of an accident, injury or poisoning during nature, sea or land excursions.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited by law indoors.

Pets are only allowed by arrangement with Karpathos travel.

10 APPLICABLE LAW AND MISCELLANEOUS TERMS

The present use contract is governed by the clauses of Greek and International Law, as well as the guidelines and Regulations of European Law. It is interpreted according to the rules of good faith and business ethics. In case a clause is judged to be contrary to the law, and thus canceled or cancelable, it automatically stops being in effect, without the validity of the other terms being compromised in any way. The courts responsible for any differences that may possibly rise from the present are the courts of Karpathos and Rhodes .
