During your visit, you will be guided through the outdoor botanical area where a variety of local herbs and flowering plants grow. These plants provide the nectar and pollen that honeybees collect to produce the rich, aromatic honey of Karpathos. Along the way, you’ll learn about the important relationship between bees, native plants, and the island’s ecosystem.
